Walter Braun, PhD

Born in 1957 in Linz, Austria.

He studied economics, psychology, philosophy, and gained a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Innsbruck, Austria.

From 1984 to 1988 he trained as a journalist and worked as a copywriter. He was the founder and editor of a media/marketing newsletter and has been working as a free-lance journalist and columnist for a variety of Austrian and German media since 1989. He has published two books in Germany.

After his relocation to England in the year 2000 he trained as a life coach and hypnotherapist.

Born in 1958 in Wuppertal, Germany.

After completing a two-year course at the College of Tourism in Innsbruck, Austria, she studied English and Spanish at the University of Innsbruck, where she gained an MA in Translating in 1984. She began her professional career as an in-house translator at Baxter-Immuno, an international pharmaceutical company in Vienna. Two years later she decided to start her own translation business, and has been successfully working for various direct clients and translation agencies ever since.

Looking for a new challenge, she relocated with her young family to the United Kingdom in the summer of 2000. She gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Exeter and worked as a part-time German teacher until 2008, while continuing to run her translation business. She currently studies for a Diploma in Herbal Medicine and lives in Bournemouth/Dorset.
